Mesi for joining me on this journey. We’ve walked through the bright lights of The Show and the quiet weight of The Shadows. Today, after a morning spent in the rhythmic ritual of self-care (shoutout to my 168+ YouTube family!), we finally arrive. This is the moment the bricks stop being a burden and start being a home.
Vigilance is a Soft Thing.
I spent my life laying bricks for the world to see, Building a fortress to hide the "me" in me. I called it a "Show," I called it a "Shield," But the weight of the mortar was all I could feel.
The Sanctuary Found
Then came the Shadows, long and deep, Where the secrets of the Architect go to sleep. I faced the dark, I felt the cold, And found the stories I never told.
But today, the water washed it all away— The "Workaholic" hustle, the "Show" of the day. I look in the mirror, and the Gem is clear, No more masks, no more hiding in fear.
I am the Protector now, the one who stays, Watching the gates through the morning haze. Vigilance is soft, like the dove on the sill, My peace is a choice, and my heart is still.
I have found the Sanctuary; it isn’t a place, It’s the peace that is written all over my face. It’s the rhythm of breath, the strength of the stone, The "sweet" realization that I am finally home.
I am the Architect.
I am the Resident.
I am the Peace.
Special Mesi to my Protector, for reminding me that while I write for the world, I breathe for my soul.
