Inspirational Observational Poem: Dust on a Window (Beauty in the Mundane) Inspirational Poem, Dust on a Window, Beauty in the

Quiet thoughts behind a pane of sorrow and light.

The Reflection in the Rain

A simple thing, a careless trace, that when the light begins to stream, it turns that dust into a dream.
A close-up shot of a dusty windowpane, with a golden sunbeam shining through and making the tiny dust particles glow like stars.

The Worn Surface

The windowpane is smudged and worn,

A place where many a day is born.

And on its surface, dust resides,

A million journeys it still hides.

A Simple, Careless Trace Focuses

A simple thing, a careless trace,

That fills a small and vacant space.

When the Light Streams In

But when the light begins to stream,

It turns that dust into a dream.

A thousand stars in one straight line,

A quiet, hopeful, clear design.

Beauty on Forgotten Ground

To show us beauty can be found,

On any, most forgotten ground.
