🕊️ The Morning Sway
The dawn wind arrives with a sudden grace,
Moving the leaves, but leaving no trace.
We bend with the rhythm, we flow with the breeze,
Finding our stillness in moments like these.
A sudden tilt, an accidental ring,
Like palm fronds caught in a passing wing.
A momentary sway, a brush of the screen,
But the roots remain firm in the spaces between.
High overhead, in the pre-dawn air,
A white dove is circling, a silent prayer.
It traces my steps, it echoes my flight,
Guarding the path as it turns toward the light.
The roots remain anchored, the threshold is secure,
The heart learns to dance, steady and pure.
No backward glance to the dark of the night,
We lean altogether, awaiting the light.
