☕ The Final Pour
There is a quiet grace in finishing the old,
Not with a bitter slam of doors,
But with a steady hand, a story told,
As we prepare for something more.
The last few drops within the cup,
The final pages of a heavy chapter,
We do not waste, we lift them up,
And claim the peace that follows after.
It could be habits holding down the stride,
Or heavy jobs that take a soul away,
Or relationships outgrown deep inside,
That kept us lingering in yesterday.
We finish the remaining portion slow,
With gratitude for what it used to be
Then wash the glass, and let it go,
To step into the space of being free.

What will be put in my wallet?
ReplyDeleteI poured out my heart,.........I pray it stays intact after.
It takes real courage to pour out your heart like that, Philo. When we pour from a place of pure love, our wallets or our hands might feel light for a moment, but the Almighty Father never leaves an empty vessel unnoticed. Sometimes, the space we clear by pouring out is the exact room needed for a new, divine grace—and open doors that no man can shut. The return isn’t always something we can hold right away; often, it starts as a lighter spirit and a deep, quiet peace. Trust the emptiness; it is just preparing you for a fresher, deeper fill. What are you hoping the Father places in your heart in this season?
