Amidst the Calm, A Lonely Tear
The sun above, a painter, burns so bright,
And bathes the world in gold, a radiant light.
The wind, a whisper, hardly stirs the air,
A perfect beauty, scattered everywhere.
But in this splendor, vibrant, calm, and vast,
My heart feels heavy, shadows holding fast.
A lonely echo in the buzzing heat,
While quiet moments softly start to meet
The hidden ache, a longing undefined,
For solace absent, left so far behind.
My eyes, like glass, hold back the unshed tear,
A private sorrow, strangely potent here.
Yet, in this pause, a reverie takes flight,
A bittersweet and tender, inner light.
A memory's ghost, a smile from days long past,
A gentle echo, beautiful to last.
Where Beauty Meets Sorrow's Deepest Hue

So let the sun blaze, and the breezes sleep,
