The Comfort of the Unread
![]() |
| A serene portrait of introspection, revealing the heart's unspoken truths and vibrant emotions. Ethereal light and delicate inner 'petals' symbolize hidden beauty and the silent language of the soul. |
The Truths We Hold Within
There are thoughts that linger, soft and on pronounced,
A silent language, rarely ever bounced Off open air, or given spoken sound,
But in the soul's deep chamber, they are found.
A quiet yearning, or a joy so vast,
A tender memory, designed to last.
They gather close, these fragments, pure and deep,
While guarded secrets gently, softly sleep.
A hidden strength, forged in a trial's fire,
A subtle longing, a profound desire. Muttered kindness, courage truly shown,
Upon the inner landscape, quietly sown.
A Silent Language, Deeply Felt
Some are sweet melodies, a gentle hum,
Of love unspoken, waiting to become
A silent comfort in the lonely night,
A guiding star, a steady, inner light.
And some hold shadows, lessons learned with pain,
Like silent rivers, fed by falling rain.
Yet, each a petal, from a bloom unseen,
A vibrant hue upon life's inner screen.
These 'whispers of the heart,' though never heard,
Are silent architects of every word
We do express, a richness we impart,
The truest blossoms of the human heart.
