The Rain on the Doorstep: On Unlocking Doors and Leaving Heavy Words Behind

There is a sacred shift that happens in the quiet hours before the sun claims the sky.
At 3:50 AM, the world is still enough for the soul to speak without interruption. This morning, after laying down an affirmation of alignment, my pen met the paper to capture a dream—a vision of stepping up, noticing the subtle latch, and unlocking a door from the inside to bring safety and rest.
It was a gentle reminder that we do not have to wait for the world, or the spaces we have outgrown, to grant us our freedom. The key is already in our hands. The discernment to open the door is already within us.
As I stepped back onto the porch from my early morning walk, the sky answered. Just as my feet reached the threshold of my home, a light, clearing shower began to fall. The timing was too precise to be mere chance; it felt like a quiet, divine baptism over the pavement.
A Prayer for the Day Ahead:
Whatever negativity or heavy words may be spoken today, let them be washed away like the raindrops on the path. Let nothing stick that was not planted by Grace.
When you know you are in a season of transition, you do not need to fight the spaces that no longer fit you. You simply walk through them unarmored, covered by the stillness of the morning, trusting that every drop of rain is clearing the path for where you are truly meant to be.
Reflection for the Day:
What doors in your life are waiting for you to stop pushing from the outside, and simply reach in to unlock from within?
Stay rhythmic,
