Breaking the Horizon: Alignment in the Afterglow

Blessed Rising, beloved hearts. We stepped out yesterday morning before the sun could greet us, anchoring our spirits in the slow, purposeful nudge of a delayed dawn. And tonight, the day answered us by closing with a spectacular, unhurried bow.

A quiet, scenic landscape view at dusk featuring a rustic, narrow dirt pathway winding past a large dark bush on the left. In the background, the soft, fading golden and orange glow of a St. Lucian sunset rests behind the dark silhouettes of rolling hills and heavy evening clouds.

Walking nearly ten thousand steps today wasn't just about movement; it was a rhythmic pursuit of alignment. I watched the

road stretch long beneath an expansively gray, moody sky, only to witness it completely transform at the final hour. The sun didn't just set; it burst open across the fence lines and low hills, melting the heavy clouds into a soft, glowing twilight trail.

"He makes darkness his canopy around him... Out of the brightness of his presence clouds advanced." — Psalm 18:11-12

As you step into the flow of this Tuesday morning, carry the memory of last night’s horizon with you. A slow start or a gray midday sky does not dictate the beauty of your ending. Your only task is to keep walking, keeping your gaze fixed slightly above the terrain of immediate worries. The dirt path beneath your feet is steady, the hills in the distance are quiet boundaries of protection, and your destination is completely bathed in grace.

Step boldly into the light already laid out for your path today. — #HUMBLELOVE

    1. It is incredibly painful when a love we hoped would flourish is cut short, Philo. Thank you for trusting this space with that heavy truth. Even when things don't grow the way we envisioned, your own heart still holds the capacity to bloom again in its own time. Sending you gentle light and strength as you navigate this afterglow. Take it one breath at a time. 🙏🌅
